There is so much that I haven’t told you. That's why I'm starting my Substack, "The Book of Jubilations."

I've always thrived on connection. Whether it was meeting you at the merch table after the show; whether it was on the early message board; at record stores and shows and radio stations and everywhere. I find myself missing that back and forth and want to rekindle it with some longer form writing, discussions, art, and other absurdities.

I won’t try to sort out the big questions, but I will attempt to pierce my own veil of shyness to allow my own weird bits a little more into view. I'll dive deep into Somme subjects that have felt meaningful to me -- including some of the songs, relationships, creative moments, and career decisions that have come to feel foundational -- but my real aim is deeper than that.

What's my aim? My aim is human connection. I know my questions aren’t new, and I know many of you gnaw the same bones. But the fact that we are all here in this moment, together, is powerful and beautiful, and I want to join in a fresh and joyful way.

Watch this space. Thank you for coming along!
