Wow! I’m very excited that this seems to be something folks are interested in. Let’s keep it open and fun and weird and wild! Love you guys. Thanks for this opportunity to let my freak flag fly!
I’m trying! Human connection is an odd thing and especially these days. We all need to be reminded of its potential in our search for joy. This is going to help me, for sure.
I saw Tyler Childers last night, and while in line, I got to meet and talk to a whole bunch of people (with similar music tastes) and we bonded. We shared stories of meeting other artists. I told them how I ran into Zack at Acadia National Park of all places. I’d be remiss if I didn’t tell them about you, your infectious smile on stage, and that you give the best hugs. Seeing Tyler was one thing, but the human connection was another!
True! I can only find fragments of it. Is there a compendium of the whole “first” book? It was a rich pond of thoughts and metaphors, that I somehow wish should exist in a real book format. It was also an immense invitation and thanks for opening up this human path again Josh.
Hey guys! I’ll be reposting some of those earlier posts from long ago as well, though I’ll add some editorial and updates to them, hopefully trying to keep them relevant and useful. Thanks for the reminder!
My bro knows you from your days at Oberlin and we are coming to your show in SF!!! Can’t wait. Bringing my kid (17) for her first concert. One of the songs she knows on guitar is “Kathleen.” We all sing along and it is the sweetest.

I'll gladly read anything you write, you little freaky thing.
If there’s a book of jubilations, you gotta write it for yourself. I’m here for it! Love the human connection you’ve always had.

Looking forward to this
Thank you, Niamh! Howdy to the green isle!
The Josh Ritter community is second to none. Thank you for this, Josh.
We’re a heady crew of piratical miscreants with mystical bents!
More words, more joy.I had a wee cry with my 1 year old listening to The Truth... today.
That’s very sweet. My goodness, thank you.
Josh, this is such a beautiful opening! Looking forward to the connection, and grateful you’re choosing to do it in this way.
Definitely said "wow, this is exciting!" out loud when I saw your post about this
It’s the sequel to the Book of Jubilations Blogspot! That contained such invaluable advice to starting-out musicians, thank you for that

I'm buckled to and ready to ride along. Let's do it!
I saved you the passenger seat!
Best comment right here!
I recently spied you carrying your 2 guitars into the Barley Beach house and thought "what a true troubador."
That’s me! If it were six hundred years ago you’d have seen a man in torn leggings, bundling lutes.
I can't think of anyone I'd like to connect with more, especially in these times, than you. I appreciate your spirit.
Looking forward to the coming musings, from you and my fellow fans.
Thank you, Sally! I’m so honored! Please let me know if there’s anything I should explore!
You're always bringing us to new places!
I’m trying! I think art is about exploration, but someone has to receive the letters home!

Wow! Tell her thank you for spending time with the song!!! I hope she has a great time, I’m so excited for that show!
I’m so looking forward to what you come up with.
It’s all on my head, and it neeeeeds to come out.
Very awesome. Thank you Josh!
